We are bringing back Albuquerque’s favorite way to enjoy the work of William Shakespeare with Bard Crawl: A Midsummer Night's Dream! Bolstered by the success of past Bard Crawls, we are taking the Shakespearean magic to a record nine venues across Albuquerque! Join us with a drink in hand this May as we tackle one of the Bard’s most raucous comedies.

Bard Crawl: A Midsummer Night's Dream chronicles love in its many forms: love at first sight, innocent love, ill-fated love, and love created by the wily mishaps of woodland fairies. One of Shakespeare’s most influential and nuanced comedies, Bard Crawl: A Midsummer Night's Dream will have audiences laughing, cheering, and crying for the play’s many lovers as they all prove the course of true love never did run smooth.

 

Inspired by Chicago’s Back Room Shakespeare, Duke City Rep invites you to enjoy Shakespeare as it was done in Shakespeare’s day, amongst a rowdy and tipsy crowd of enthusiastic playgoers.
